Sleman - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta again organizes New Student Admissions (PMB) online through the Independent Selection (SM) path. It is the last path to register the UPNVY Bachelor Program. The New Student Admissions through the UPNVY Independent Selection pathway use the written exam. The written test locations will be held in seven locations, namely Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Bontang, Balikpapan and Banjarmasin. The written exam was held on 21 July.

Markus Kusnardijanto as the Head of Subdivision of Cooperation and Public Relations said that the registration of the UPNVY Independent Selection has been opened from 21 May to 6 July 2019. He reminded the participants to observe the registration schedule so that they will not miss it.

"The registration is less than 12 days. Don’t register in the last days. Last year, the registration in the first week was minimal. Three days before closing, the registrants reached 5 thousands", he explained.

The head of the collaboration and public relations department also reminded the participants to register early to avoid the technical problems if they register at the end of the registration date. The registration at the last days causes density on the server which can hinder the registration process.

At the New Student Admission through the Independent Selection path, the participants can choose 2 study programs at the Bachelor Program. This year, the exam group followed by the participants is divided into two types, namely the Science and Technology (Saintek) examination group and the Social and Humanities (Soshum) examination group.

To be understood, the capacity of Independent Test is the 953 seats. The participants can observe more detailed information on the page pmb.upnyk.ac.id. Detailed information about the addresses of seven locations  as follows:

• Yogyakarta: at UPNVY Campus, Amikom campus, UII campus, Atmajaya
• Purwokerto: at SMAIT AL Irsyad Al Islamyyah, Jl Prof Dr. Suharso Purwokerto.
• Jakarta: at Taman Siswa High School, Jl. Garuda No. 31 Gunung Sahari, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
• Balikpapan: at Patra Dharma High School Jl. Warukin III Panorama, Mekarsari, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
• Bontang: at Pupuk Kaltim High School, Jl Dahlia, Belimbing, Bontang Barat, Bontang, East Kalimantan.
• Pekanbaru: at Cendana High School Pekanbaru Jl. Palm Complex of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Lembah Damai, Rumbai, Riau Pekanbaru Coast.
• Banjarmasin: at Brother Don Bosco High School, Jl Rantau Darat No.24 Banjarmasin.
